I have been preparing for my future for awhile now, although I was unsure of where it would take me, I enrolled in running start to build up college credits and obtain my Associates of Arts degree upon graduation. This degree and these credits will now ensure that I am on a streamlined path in college in whatever degree I choose to pursue, as it signifies my completion of general studies, and will remove a large majority of them during my college stint. Additionally, the 90 college credits I will have accumulated will ensure I surpass the requirement to be promoted upon enlistment to the highest enlistment rank achievable in the Air Force and Air National Guard. I have been diligent in the saving of my finances, and have worked hard to fit in a job whenever possible, whether that be during the summers of high school, or even in the case of my senior year, carrying on throughout my entire senior year. I will walk into college as an active serviceman, with my AA degree, and a nesting egg that I will be able to draw from.
